As we age, we begin to experience pain in the different parts of the body, especially our joints which according to our grandparents is what we called "Rayuma".According to experts and to medical doctors, it is called arthritis or gout.
Gout is the most painful types of arthritis and it is characterized by redness, pain and inflammation in one or more joints. People with gouts are advised to have diet and medication. They should avoid alcohol or drink alcohol in moderation, drink plenty of water and fluidsand maintain an ideal body weight. People with gout should know what to eat so, lifestyle and discipline in eating should be made by those people with gout.
I have experienced this painful condition and I was advised by the doctor to avoid foods rich in dairy products and carbohydrates which trigger the pain. I was also advised to take vitamins that would make my bones strong and healthy.
